I'm coming California...i finally found some time! Sept1-5 i'll be in the OC!!! Is anyone around there still? I'd love to see people especially my sisters..i miss everyone...let me know ok? i really would loove to visit with people :)

So to sum up..

SHANNON In CALIFORNIA SEPTEMBER 1-5!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

2:08pm: it's been forever and a day...
well once again i've gotten very behind on my updates...so lets just try to sum it up

1. Nick and I split up..it got to the point where it was more of a friendship love than anything else so we decided to be friends which has worked out really well.

2. work is ok...i'm seriously annoyed/frustrated with a few of my coworkers and i don't like being here a lot.

3. I found out that i can graduate pretty much on time from CSU. I'll be 9 credits shy in may so i'd finish partly at CSU and partly abroad summer 06...but since there's no summer grad ceremony i get to walk in May. It's strange but i'm definetly ready to get out of here and start the next phase of my life....and probably return to CA..i miss it...

4. I'm getting reevaluated of ADD which is a good thing i think that getting the right treatments will help me in this very busy coming school year...i'm takin 18 credits plus my job as a KCSU manager plus a 2 day a week prime time DJ gig plus 2 Chicks and Nick (my talk show) on Sundays...whew...i hope i survive.

5. Dave and I are dating again...i don't think i should fight what we have anymore. it feels right...it has for a long time. i missed him...we're just seeing where things go from here..which is good..he turns 21 on the fourth which is cool...

6. The weight loss is progressing..i fell off the wagon a few times which was a little discouraging but i'm back on and i've lost about 15 pounds...i hope to get down to my ultimate 20 pound goal by july 18...which brings me to my next point

7. my family is going to Maui in july!!! which rocks I am in total need of a vacation!

8. I miss my best friend Joanna to peices. the last time i saw her i got to witness Mike proposing to her which is amazing! she's made me her maid of honor in her wedding which is an undescribable honor. I feel bad cause i haven't gotten to talk to her much because she's been in Rome and now at Rock Camp..i miss her i hope she knows that...we've been playing phone tag which sucks!!!

well thats about it...i better get back to work!

9:30am: everyone was doing it...
everyone was posting pics of new pets so i remembered i forgot to tell everyone i got a new cat. her name is Layla, she's 2 and i got her at the humane society...i love her :)

7:51pm: yay for losing weight!




i lost 1.3 pounds this week and i was almost positive i gained!! hooray!! i'm getting so close to my goal!
just for fun i thought i'd post some picture evidence..last night the radio station where i work had our Staff appreciation dinnner (we have one every semester and i thought it was great to see the difference between the last one (November 04) and now (April 05)my boyfriend nick is in both of them..he's doing WW with me he's doing such a good job too!!!

Weight Watcher is going ok i gained 3 pounds of water weight due to that time of the month and i got severely upset about it...weight loss sucks... any encouragement..anyone??

i have mucho papers and tests already...suckfest...

and for those of you that don't already know..the facebook rules..

3:18pm: new livejournal..
new turn in life equals a fresh start and a new outlook on life...hence...a new livejournal to start over in...

the most amazing thing has happened...

i'm happy...truly happy...at C-State... oh goodness i've waited a long time for that...

1. i decided to listen to the people that truly care about whether or not i am happy and i succeed...myself and my mom. i decided that although david is a good person, we don't bring out the best in eachother...i often times found myself upset or frustrated when we were together and that is no way to be in a relationship. when thoughts would shift to what was suposed to be our future...i found my self more worried about it...not happy...it was a rough decision...but it was the right thing to do

~small detour on this....i'm in class listening to the how to research in the library shpeel for the thousandth time....so boring..

2. ok moving on..KCSU...fabulous...i have an amazing time slot for my own show...12-3 pm on Saturdays...my djing is getting so much better...i really am pround of myself for how far i've come...also i've got a new specialty show (talk show)6-8pm on Wednesdays...it's really funny yet informing..it's called "2 Chicks and Nick" and it's co hosted by Christina (who is one of the most wonderful girls ever!) and Nick (my best friend/boy)..

3. as i was parting from david and wondering about my place...nick fell into my lap...it's amazing how you can have someone who could be just perfect for you right under your nose...or in my case acroos the studio at 10am while doing a Sports Update...it just goes to show that everyone and everything deserves a closer look...

4. I got a promotion at KCSU too!! I'm the Underwriting Director for 2005-2006!! i'm super excited and happy about it...
